Lehtipiste Oy acquires Hanart Oy’s entire share capital

Lehtipiste Oy has signed an agreement with Hanart Oy’s owner Jari Handolin for the acquisition of Hanart Oy’s operations. Handolin has been responsible for Hanart’s business operations since 1978.

A wholesale company, Hanart Oy imports well-known high-quality brand name products for arts, crafting and interior design. The company’s product range is carried by retailers across Finland and includes approximately 9,000 products. In 2022, Hanart reported a revenue of 5.2 million euros.

Lehtipiste Oy manages and distributes printed single copy newspapers and magazines, books and collectibles across Finland. In the e-commerce logistics market, the company operates as Pakettipiste, providing time-critical deliveries for businesses and a nationwide parcel point network for consumers. Suomen Korttipiste Oy and Putinki Oy, leading operators in the greeting card and gift product market, are also part of the group.

 

Hanart complements Lehtipiste’s offering in the utility goods market

Hanart Oy will continue as a subsidiary in the Lehtipiste Group, becoming an operative part of the company’s greeting card business unit together with Suomen Korttipiste Oy and Putinki Oy. Suomen Korttipiste’s managing director Kalevi Koistinen becomes Hanart’s new CEO.

Consumers can expect a more comprehensive and varied total offering as Hanart joins the Lehtipiste Group.
